The world of politics will forever be known by its differences among the political parties and their diverse views until the election of the President Barack Obama.  For years America has been dodging the issue of race, making it taboo to discuss, the media even makes light of hate crimes or any injustice as it relates to race.  We ignore the gaps in the justice system that despairingly give harder sentences to crimes committed by African-Americans than any other race.   So much time has gone into ignoring or trying to ignore race but then a Black President, omg!  He snuck in and now the fears, the ignorance, the doubt and even hatred is in full bloom.  So much in bloom that the Republican Party added a wing known as the ‘tea party’ designed to “take America Back”.   Really!?  Taking it back from whom?  This slogan would make sense if they were referring to taking America by bringing jobs back from overseas, if it mean giving the poor better tax breaks and implementing taxes on the wealthy, if it meant putting our children first in education but this party, this tea party is targeting the President and any programs that he is for, they are against. 

It’s like having a group of children full of opposition and no real solution, quick to anger Americans, get them fired up, cause confusion and then point the finger at the victim of choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It is the politics of those Republicans that has America in the financial breakdown it is currently in; it is the politics of those tea party members who oppose government funded programs that many minorities need to survive, it is their politics to eliminate social services, to give the wealthy tax breaks so that only the strong thrive.  Their hatred, fears and ignorance have caused the government to be in some of the worse times ever and now when people are depending on them the most instead of addressing the needs of the Americans that they are to serve, their focus on is destroying one person The President without regard to how it affects the rest of America.  Their hope is that Americans will be so distraught by all that is happening they will get rid of the president and back to business as usual. 

Hatred is a strong emotion and its affects linger for generations, don’t buy into the hate.  It’s like the story in the Bible that Solomon settled, the dispute between two women.  One woman’s baby died so she stole the other woman’s baby and when the other lady awake she knew exactly what happened.  They were bought before Solomon for him to decide who would get the baby and both pleaded their case so Solomon said okay split the baby.  The woman who wasn’t the mother didn’t care because she wanted to the other woman to hurt like she was hurting, she didn’t have real ties to the baby BUT THE REAL MOTHER THOUGHT OF THE BABY FIRST and rather than harm the baby her love moved her to be willingly to give it up!  Same rule for Congress.  Although President Obama is sickened by some of the moves, tricks and ignorance of Congress each time instead of standing firm in some decisions he will negotiate in order to ensure that the American People don’t suffer at the hands of ignorant Congress men or women.

Wisdom overrules hatred every time and even if you attempt to kill a leader’s spirit or kill him by attacking his persona, the blood spill will always cry out!  Don’t buy into the hate, look beyond and see the larger picture!
