We are products of the choices we make in life. Many times we spend the latter years of our adult life trying to makeup, clearup the choices we make in our youth or ignorant stages. I wonder what would happen if instead of blame and doubt, we employed thought, consideration, information and examination.
People tend to make choices based on their emotional, mental and social state of mind at that time. So if one was to take to time to evaluate his or hers state of mind at the time of some bad decisions it could change the way one views his or herself, change the how he or she would handle his or herself in the future and make better decisions in the future. Trying to live down what we have done in our past is hard but when one doesn’t have the accurate information to do better or take the much needed time to review why a decision was made, the result is greater punishment leading to more harmful decisions.
Change the way you make decisions about your life. As much as you need a change, require one and even feel that he or she is in a state of emergency, more QUIET time, more input or knowledge one would better decide how to handle things, what to address and when. Instead of focusing on the right here and now, better life decisions begin with plans, implementation and strategy along with expectation of things, obstacles or events to block your plans. Too many times we are caught off guard by things and people leaving one vulnerable but a strategist is prepared and even when he or she is hit by an obstacle the mind of a strategist pulls out another plan.
You spent the 20’s doing whatever, the 30’s allowing life to happen to you so in your 40’s become a strategist!
