Black History Month

It’s Black History Month and everyone should celebrate by adding to his or her knowledge.  It’s our American responsibility to become more educated about a race of people that have been overlooked, feared, and ignored based on ignorance due to lack of knowledge.

Barack Obama wining the Presidency of the United States has bought America to her knees with the issue of race.  From the way he and First Lady Michelle Obama dress to statements and the like; America is in awe of the First Black President and very fearful.  It cannot be argued that the President has contributed to any the fears and yet White America sits holding their breath waiting for the next shoe to fall as if there will be an announcement for all white people to board a ship to Africa.  It’s crazy and rather than deal with fears that have been suppressed they would rather find reasons to not support the President even if means watching America herself fall.

Educate and become educated on a culture that built America with their hands.

“Education is the passport to the future for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”   Malcolm X
