Life happens to us all. If I were to be real and transparent my life has been full of ups and downs. My highs seemed to be real high and my lows bottomed out at times. Truth be told I have done things I wouldn’t want people to know, I have been in situations that were less than perfect and some quite embarrassing. However, through each and every one of those situations I count myself to be among the elite as I was able to come away each situation better than I was. Don’t get it twisted, its not because I am a charmed one but due to a great strength that I thank God and my mother for the ability to self-evaluate!
The ability for one to evaluate where he or she is in life, relationships, career, finances, spiritual growth or any level is powerful beyond measure. Most people are only clear about others and their mistakes but fuzzy on the details of their own. I remember being that way until it didn’t work any longer. It doesn’t matter the circumstances of every detailed situation in your life, relationships, financial details or even career moves; what matters is your personal growth. Trust me in any given set of circumstances one can always find a person or situation that lead them to a specific end. The key is to not to continue being drawn in to situations that lead one against the goals he or she want to accomplish.
People tend to forget details about their mistakes for a few reasons #1 – Embarrassment. Rather than admit even to his or herself what they did or didn’t do; they want to pretend it didn’t happen and start anew. You cannot start fresh when you don’t learn the lessons of or from the past.
#2 – IT SHOULDN’T HAVE HAPPEN TO ME. It’s funny the things one feels he or she should or shouldn’t experience based on age, social-economic backgrounds, financial disposition and the like. Life happens to us all! The rain falls on the just as well as the unjust! Get over it. We are forever students in this thing called life! To think that one gets to a center stage in life and ceases to learn will leave you disappointed and living up to or trying to live up to a precedent of perfection will make one frustrated.
#3 – Exposure to New Things Means Learning. Exposure to new concepts, ideas and things means become a student again. From career moves to growing in Christ, you will not always be at the top of every area in your life.
You cannot grow without having growing pains. Growing pains when used as a learning tool aren’t a bad thing, but a foundation for one to build.
HAPPY BUILDING
