Lots of series going on here recently with me. However anyway that God speaks to me and through me, it’s HIS WILL and not my will be done.
If you have ever mis-spoken, prejudged or being spoken ill of then you know that despite how things look it is always the possibility that something said, done or decided could be wrong. Usually our first thoughts are correct about things but there are times when the first thought is just that, the first thought the initial assessment and another assessment is required especially as it relates to people. Often because as people we love instant gratification, instant feedback, instant approval one will tend to judge people based upon these thoughts, concepts and ideas of instant. When a person doesn’t respond the way or as fast as one desires the tendencies to make assumptions arises quickly. What I have learned is that those who appear to be really with me or a friend based upon responses really weren’t friends. It’s so funny. Because our perception of love and adoration is always associated with what really boils down to one tickling your fancy and not really displaying love.
Sometimes people don’t respond to all one does and says because they are taking in the information and processing it. It could be that one is overwhelmed, excited or amazed by what is being shared and without words to express it. The key is that a response isn’t a concrete assessment of what one thinks or feels. To know that requires an expression, a true communication of feelings, thoughts and ideas.
Before you judge situations and people remember to give them room to think! In doing so you free yourself of unnecessary thoughts about how a person really feels. It is easy to assume the worse and expect it rather than to gain a full understanding and understanding really is EVERYTHING. Even a response or a communication of thought is but one piece of a puzzle because behind the thought process of an individual lies the root as to why he or she forms the opinions and thoughts one does. Behind it lies their upbringing, surround culture and the like.
It’s okay to be wrong! Amendments to the Constitution have been few and far between but those Amendments tell us that the Constitution openly admits there were mistakes to the original document. Prayerfully through growth, life experience and the combination of the two; one will amend his or her thoughts. I would hate to think that one is still thinking as a child when he or she is now at the age of an adult.
KEEP AMENDING!
