The Truth.Org.Com.Net Part 2

Contrary to popular belief, there is only one truth.  ONE! Singular! Uno!  Now there are different perceptions, views about that one truth but only one truth.  There may be discrepancies for how that one true came to past but still one truth.  For example, the truth is no one is perfect however there are people that fit perfectly in our life designed and created for us.  Another example could be someone calling you mean.  While their experience of you left them feeling hurt, angered or disappointed that one view isn’t a full picture of who you are nor is it necessarily an accurate view.  It would better stated, if one said, what you said or what you did felt mean.  Often that’s where our perception of truth lies in the most unstable place, our emotions.

The truth isn’t an emotional thing although hearing it makes one emotional from time to time.  The truth is a standard, a measure of real verses idealistic.  There are a number of people living within us at any given point and time.  There is always that person one desires to be, the one you really want people to think of when they think of us.  For many the people close to us never really see that person although it’s the one we feel we send out daily to people.  Then there is the person we pretend to be, our representative, the formal “us”; the unemotionally attached one of us that seems unbothered or untouched by anything and yet ready to take on everything.  That person isn’t real but unfortunately that person is respected and deep down that is what we all desire a level of respect.  Then there is a mixture of the two above who is real has excellent qualities and resembles the best of both the aforementioned versions of us and at the same time has flaws and shortcomings.  You know the imperfections we attempt to hide from everyone.  However this person is the truth and you know what nothing is all good or all bad about this individual.  There is someone who will think this person is wonderful flaws and all while others will find the same person disgusting no matter what he or she attempts to change.  The truth is every individual is a combination of good and evil.  Good is a subjective thought based on a situation at any given time, what one really means when we say a good person usually means that the individual has done something that either made you feel good or their behavior or action was good for you at that time.  Every person is a sum total of his or her thoughts, actions, ideas, hopes, dreams, and desires.  To be judged on one action in time will never give one the truth about a person in its entirety and a portion of the truth is always a whole lie.

The truth is facts not emotions or opinions.  The truth is that people will always have an opinion about you and it doesn’t matter what you do or how well you do it, you will not please everyone.  You will not even please most of the people.  The truth is no matter where you start, every one of us is on a journey and on that journey the greatest people will have ups and downs.  If they don’t they will not be great people just people who never really tried anything and never made a difference and more importantly never grew.  Growth is the bridge that moves one from potential, promise, desire to acquisition and on that bridge there will be tough times, rocky times and shaky ground.  The truth is paths can be similar but never the same because different people learn and acquire knowledge differently at different times and according to life’s experiences. Many are those who say that they desire the truth but yet do not welcome it or even recognize it.  Some run from it because it hurts and would rather remain stagnant than to embrace it and grow.
