Tithing is the foundation for building financial stability and increase.  You cannot have increase without stability.  Tithing is a system, a principle set by God that allows one the opportunity to be blessed.  God set order, He tells us in HIS WORD, Malachi 3:10-11, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and 1) pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  2) And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and 3) he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; 4) neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.”  A system was implemented, a method for being blessed was discussed and explained right here in this scripture above.  The system has always existed, it operated in the Garden of Eden and as long as Adam and Eve remained in obedience the system worked perfectly.

What’s your system for being blessed?  Your employers have a system to ensure you receive payment for services rendered.  You fill out forms, must turn them in on time, make sure your payroll timecard is complete, make sure it is signed because anything not done could and would delay the deposit or receipt of funds.  So there is a system for receipt of funds and your part, what is the system for disbursement of funds?

Disbursing funds must have a system as well.  Too often the money disbursed is done in the head or from memory.  One will think and attempt to remember the bills due, the amount and even anticipate how much is left after paying the bills and that system or lack thereof will always fail.  A person’s mind should be used to explore and cultivate new ideas not remember things that can be written.  To clutter the mind with trivial thoughts ruins one’s ability to create more funds.  Additionally, disbursing everything received leaves nothing for one to build on or any savings for rebuilding.

God blesses systems, HE implemented systems and HE blesses through them.  So if you invest into God’s system of tithing then don’t stop there, go further by creating a system of disbursement as well.  Allow God to help you prosper by watching what you spend as well as receive.
