There’s nothing worse than feeling as if you have done the right thing and feeling as if one has not receive the accurate, desired or promised results.  Many are the leaders who find it hard to discuss tithing because he or she feels some sort of responsibility for making sure that tithers are blessed.  God honors ALL OF HIS WORD!  Unlike us, He doesn’t pick or choose the portion to honor.  Often when a person tithes, it’s never a default in God or HIS Word.  The problem lies in their system of distribution, level of faith and lack of understanding.  I said this in the original article but it is worth repeating, tithing is not a cureall or a magic trick or scheme for obtaining wealth.

Having said that, one must understand that tithing is a discipline, an obedience and faith thing.  One must be discipline enough to consistent.  Love God enough to be obedient to HIS Word and give.  Have enough faith in God to take Him at His Word.

So tithing and being broke?  First of all this isn’t the way it is supposed to be.  Secondly, this isn’t a message or a series of messages to stop tithing!  NOT AT ALL.  The error isn’t in the tithing it lies in the one who is tithing.  Today let’s focus on the promise God gives us if we tithe.  There are four major points but we will focus on one today:

Malachi 3:10-11, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and 1) pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  2) And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and 3) he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; 4) neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.”

• POUR YOU OUT A BLESSING THAT THERE IS SHALL NOT BE ROOM ENOUGH TO RECEIVE IT.

ARE YOU STILL WAITING ON THE BLESSING?  DO YOU HAVE ROOM TO RECEIVE THE BLESSING?  ARE YOU TIRED OF WAITING?  DO YOU FEEL GOD HAS LET YOU DOWN?

The one thing we know about our God is that HIS WAYS aren’t our ways (Thank God)!  HIS THOUGHTS aren’t our thoughts (Hallelujah!).  Too often when we think of blessing or being a blessing we think problem solving, large amounts of finances, enough to handle everything we think we need (which is kinda crazy since our needs and desires are forever changing).  The problem with that kind of thinking is GOD never does anything all at once!  We are talking about the Almighty, the CREATOR, the FIRST AND THE LAST, the I AM!   He could have created the heaven and earth in one day but didn’t!  The job was spread out over six days and written in the Bible for us to view.  The lesson, there is power in process!  Yes it is!

So when God says He will pour out a blessing that you shall not have room enough to receive, the blessing comes in seed form.   What idea, concept, thought, gift have you not developed to full capacity that if done would create generations of wealth to come?

Yes the blessings will come but not always the unexpected check in the mail, the unexpected deposit in the account………shall I continue?  How about utilizing the gifts God has given you to create the wealth you desire?  Yep maybe you have been blessed but you haven’t developed it.  The gift has been given but not unwrapped.

Think about it, there isn’t an amount of money one can receive, that if he or she doesn’t turn it into more money will last forever.  In other words you cannot spend, spend spend and expect to continue having.  You cannot hold onto money and expect it to become wealth.  So the blessing God gives has to be developed to become the wealth! Plainly put, you must invest into yourself and your development as well.

Don’t miss the blessing because it doesn’t look like you expected.
