Yep, keep singing and saying it; “what God has for me is for me”. Sure it is, however, if you do not reach for it, if you are not doing something to get it; it will NOT COME TO YOU! Some people have been screaming this for so long that even they have started to believe that it will not happen and they are right. I’m not guessing, I’m promising you, that IF YOU DO NOT ENGAGE, IF you do not take action toward your goals, the goals will not come down from heaven and overtake you!
The funny thing is that people take action everywhere and with anyone but most find it difficult to take action for his or herself. Time and money wait for no one. I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating, time alone is a measure of seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years; it does nothing alone but pass. It is how you USE the time that determines one’s outcome. Money alone is nothing but a collection of paper and coins, however in the right hands, it becomes so much more!
Neither time nor money wait for no man or woman. That’s why procrastination isn’t a friend to anyone. Waiting or prolonging engaging of any kind can be a dangerous thing. Missed opportunities are the primary reason for so many POOR (Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly) People! Instead of looking for opportunities, people tend to look for money. The bad thing about that is more money will only help for a limited time and that time is dependent on that mind! A poor mindset will spend any money quickly which in turn means gathering more of it (money), but a wealthy mind, knows to use the money wisely. Investing it (the money) so that in time it (the money) will grow to become a real harvest; is a better use of the resources ESPECIALLY when they are limited. Again this difference is based on knowledge, understanding, learning and growing.
Both time and money management are learned behaviors that children pickup from parents. As a new parent, I remember allowing my child to sleep and eat as he desired because you’re at home with the baby until my mother told me to set his schedule. At that point, you begin doing things to keep the baby up during the day so he or she will sleep at night. It starts early. Habits are hard to break and bad habits seem to take on a life of their own. So mismanage of time as an adult and trying to break or change that is literally changing habits that may have been in play for years. The same holds true with money management. It is customary to not think about or inquire about money until one is making money. That is poor planning. Although one may not have money on a consistent basis to spend, a person has already developed attitudes, thoughts and ideas about money. Again the management or mismanagement of it begins early. A child with birthday money and his or her attitude toward that money or management of it; will show you whether or not he is a saver or a spender.
Time and money wait for no one! They will both pass you by as you watch others use their time, seize opportunities and make money. Both time and money flow and neither flow to dry places. Do not allow yourself to become a dry place.
Dry places produce nothing only consumes.
Dry places are void of life.
Dry places bring nothing to fruition.
Don’t believe the hype, stop sitting, waiting and hoping. Begin planning, implementing and accomplishing.
Time and Money wait for NO ONE!
