Indeed, this epidemic of COVID-19, has been the worst epidemic, I’ve witnessed in my lifetime. I cannot say that this time of ‘shelter-in-place’, curfews and social-distancing; this time hasn’t been all bad.
Anything God allows serves purpose. Indeed, the Covid-19 epidemic isn’t any different. While the fear of the unknown bough on anxiety there are still good things experienced amid this crisis.
I’ll start with 10 and when you’ve read the article, add your own. The way you look at things determines the outcome or impact that they have on you.
- Much needed quality time with your family. Each day we go out and work long hours to support a family that we barely get to see and enjoy.
- You’ve developed a greater appreciation for the educational system as well as your child’s teachers!!!!!! 😊
- You will pay close attention to voting in the upcoming local elections, those who have made decisions about our safety vs. protecting the economy
- Some of you have learned that you’re not smarter than 5th grader
- Your cooking skills have improved, I’m sure
- You value people more
- The importance of people and interacting with them has grown, I’m sure
- All the projects you have completed around the house: cleaning the garage, cleaning junk drawers in the kitchen, cleaning out the refrigerator and reorganizing of the pantry and other areas
- Budget improvements are being formulated in your head, I’m sure. Savings, emergency funding & more.
- If nothing else, coming out of this one will be stronger, healthier, more capable to handle obstacles. If you can handle this, think about the other things you can take on that you’ve been afraid to do.
Nothing is all bad, use, find and work the good to your benefit.
