The Political World will always be known for the differences, the battles, the elections, the votes and contraversy between the Democratic and Republican Parties. Honestly there is much that can be said both positive and negative about both parties, their beliefs and concepts. However since the election of President Barack Obama, politics has done what the world has tried to ignore; bought back the fears, uncertainty, ignorance, division and hatred many Americans have toward or of African-Americans or Black People. For years, it has been taboo to discuss race, although race is and always has been a factor or motivator in many decisions; everyone tries to discuss racism or prejudice as if it were a thing of the past. However the successful election of An African American President bought out the hatred, ignorance, indifference that was lying dormant to some and evident to others.

I know it hurts but the truth is since his election, politics hasn’t really been politics. With all the things going on in America, the weakened economy, the difficit, our children ill-prepared to compete with the rest of the world; so many have turned their focus to color with the subliminal messages of “taking America back” and so forth. Taking America back from whom? This message would make sense if the Tea Party was bringing jobs back from over seas or if the Republicans weren’t always dodging the paying of taxes especially the rich so that the economy in the U.S. could thrive. In fact the Republicans Political Views are the underlying factor for the weakening economy we live in today. It is their politics to give tax breaks to the wealthy, cut government funded programs, etc… send jobs overseas because of cheap labor, making the rich richer and the have nots have less. To add insult to injury any decision made by Congress as a whole or by the President is related back to race or the origin birth of our President.

I guess I am ignorant as well because it floors me how this new breed of politicans known as the Tea Party with little to no experience worry about the future when the only key to the future is to stabilize the present. Whose future are they securing by eliminating needed programs? Sure we can cut the deficit, the one no one worried about while President Bush kept us in a fruitless war that cost America trillions in dollars and thousands of lives, the deficit we ignored while watching a city in the US [New Orleans] that suffered from a natural disaster, that deficit! NOW the deficit is priority or so they say when really it is all about the elite, the separation of the classes and more importantly to them, taking their America back!

Wow did we step back in the Civil Rights Movement? You know the movement that now even some legislature is considering to remove that information from our history books! Don’t frown your nose up, if we aren’t smarter than soon we will be fighting for the rights we now enjoy.

The worse part is that I don’t think many can see past a few dollars and to understand the larger picture. Whether you are an Obama fan or not, it is better to be honest with yourself. Congress is turning the nation upside down. Look at what they are attack the programs needed most in this critical time. The President is only one office, one person congress is suppose to represent the people and if this is the message of my generation, I am ashamed. Hatred is a powerful emotion and the affects of hatred last long and hurt deep. Don’t buy into the hate!
